FAQ — Fit, Fabric, Drops & Care

Fit and sizing

How do Slice Of Orange pieces fit?

Everything is patterned to a boxy, oversized silhouette with a dropped shoulder. Take your usual size for the intended look, or size down one for a closer fit. Full guidance is in the size guide.

What sizes do you carry?

It varies by piece. The OG Mentality Tee runs XS–2XL and the Oversized Blank Hoodie runs S–XL. Available sizes are always listed on the product page.

Can I get exact measurements before I order?

Yes. Message us with the piece and size and we will send flat-lay measurements.

Fabric and construction

What does 350GSM actually mean?

GSM is grams per square metre — the weight of the fabric. A typical high-street tee sits around 150–180GSM. Our tees are 350GSM pure cotton, roughly double that. In practice it means the garment is opaque, holds its shape rather than clinging, and does not curl at the hem after a few washes.

What are the hoodies made from?

An 80% cotton / 20% polyester fleece, chosen for a structured boxy drape with a soft, substantial handfeel. The polyester content keeps the shape stable through repeated washing.

Where are your pieces made?

Our flagship graphic pieces, including the OG Mentality Tee, are made in Canada. Screen printing and hand distressing are done in-house, which is why no two distressed pieces are identical.

Drops and restocks

How do your drops work?

We release in limited capsules rather than seasons. Each capsule — such as Roughly Sliced — is produced in a fixed quantity and closed once it sells through.

Do you restock sold-out pieces?

As a rule, no. Limited pieces stay limited. Occasionally a core blank will return in a later capsule, but graphics are not reprinted.

How do I find out about the next drop?

Join the mailing list on any product page, or reach out directly. Drops are announced ahead of release.

Care

How should I wash heavyweight cotton?

Cold wash, inside out, similar colours. Hang dry or tumble dry low. Avoid hot water and high heat drying — heavyweight cotton has more shrink potential than lightweight jersey, and heat is what activates it.

How do I protect a screen print?

Turn the garment inside out before washing and never iron directly on the print. Iron on the reverse of the fabric if needed.

Orders and shipping

Where do you ship?

Across Canada and internationally, priced in CAD. Details are on the shipping and returns page.

Can I return or exchange?

Yes, on unworn items in original condition with tags attached. See the returns process and our refund policy.
